We spent New Years Eve at Nana and Poppa's house. They were gracious enough to watch the girls that evening so that Alex and I could go out. We went to Texarkana. We hadn't been out just the two of us in forever and we hadn't been to Texarkana in a long time either. It was wonderful, thank you Nana and Poppa. And thank you Alex for making it such a memorable night.
We came home on New Years and everyone has turned into night owls. We all stay up later than we are used to. The girls watched Kung Fu Panda and munched on mac and cheese. They put on their party hats and ran around blowing on their celebratory horns. Olivia could not blow hard enough to make noise on hers so she ran around saying "Whooooo, hooooo". It was sweet.
