What a wonderful holiday! We have all been blessed so much to be able to spend the holidays with our family and friends. We have received more than we deserve. I hope that you all had a blessed holiday and there is more to come!
The girls had a great time at Grammie Retta and Papaw Trumans house. They got a doll house and other goodies. We had a good afternoon with them. We missed Aunt Becky and her family though. We hear they had a great Christmas though and we are thankful that they had a safe holiday.
Abi is growing into such a little lady so quickly! This is her in the car on the way to Granny Gloria's Christmas on Christmas Eve. She sits like that a lot these days. Looks like a prissy pants, huh. I love her personality though.
My cousin Brent and his nephew(Eric and Allison's baby),Connor
Granny receiving her crack-a-lackin' gift. Oh, how fun it was!
Ricky McBay(Brent's loyal father) busting a gut as he realizes what Granny's gift is. I'm sure Connor was giggling on the inside as well.
Nanna making the traditional Christmas Morning chocolate gravy. Yummmmmm
I have several more pictures to post of things that the girls opened that were important. I believe that I have enough photos on here for thin entry. Promise to get the rest of them on here soon. We open gifts at home in the morning with the girls. Love you all and goodnight!

As you all know, I am a long winded person(Don't say a word Brent Jacob) and we have had a lot going on lately. So you are about to hear an earfull.
Last Friday, Alex and I took Olivia and Makayla to the Wonder Place. They loved it! And I am pretty sure that Alex enjoyed his first experience there as well. We had the whole place to ourselves for about half an hour because we got there first thing in the morning. But then, about 6 bus loads of kids pull up and take the place over. We still had a great time though. I will try to give descriptions of the photos as I go.
Olivia was playing in the toddler section. She liked going through the little door. It is built like a little house with a fence around it and there are all sorts of things to climb and play on inside the gates.
Makayla likes playing in the miniature version of the River Market and River Market Cafe that they have there. She was bringing me an ice cream cone that I "ordered".
Olivia's favorite thing to do is water play. She would splash in that pool all day if we would let her. She loves getting herself and others wet. There was a mini-tantrum after daddy removed her from the water.
Eventually we ended up in the sand area to play. There is a big table filled with sand and toys for the kids to stand at and play in with shovels and stuff. Olivia was playing well with others until a little boy took her toy. I wasn't about to scold the other child so I happily showed Livi how she could continue to scoop sand with her shovel. She stood there scowling at the other child and refused to grasp the shovel. She was angry and it was nap time. So, the following picture is the conclusion of her play at the sand table.
We went to play at this big peg-board that the have. I wanted to see how good Olivia's fine motor skills were. I showed her how to put the pegs in and take them out and she was really good at it.
Daddy built a tower (with occassional help from the girls). He had a good time building it and then a little boy (from one of those 6 buses) ran over and knocked it to the ground. Olivia was taking snack breaks while KayKay and Daddy were building.
They also have an area set up like a veteranarian clinic. They have the table and stuffed animals all around. I believe thet the doctors were consulting over an x-ray in this shot.
This is what she always tells us."The cow looked at me and said "Hi, Mooookayla" Cracks us up everytime. She loves dressing up.
Abi and Makayla also had their first pedicures on Friday. It was a birthday party for a girl in Abi's class and her mother was kind enough to let makayla come too. They had a great time. I thought Abi might fall asleep in the chair with her feet in the water. Makayla was giggling like crazy. They got to pick what they wanted on their toes. It was fun to see them enjoy it so much, eventhough I was wishing it was me up there getting one.
We went to Newhope on Saturday for our Christmas get-together at Memaw's. We had a lot of family there and it was great. The girls got some wonderful gifts(thank you everybody) and we had an AWESOME time playing MadGab. I'm glad Nana thought to bring it. We love you all and can't wait to get together again!

Alex brought me a Christmas arrangement home from work the other day.
The ladies went to see Santa at the library yesterday. We were the only ones there at the time, so it was nice. Abi went right up to him, sat on his lap, and told him exactly what he was going to bring her for Christmas (a doll and a swingset).
Makayla hesitantly stood by him and put her hand over her mouth as she mumbled what she wanted for Christmas(walkie talkie and mickey mouse).
Olivia ran to him, got half way there, turned around and ran back to me. I went to see him with her and she fussed and reached for me. but once he handed her a candy cane, she was distracted long enough to get a picture.
The "elves" gave them all a giant coloring book and colors. It is cute watching Olivia carry the book around, it's taller than her.
We began making sugar cookies last night. We will probably decorate them tonight.
Alex was off yesterday, today, and tomorrow due to being gone for so many weeks. It is nice. We are going to take Olivia to use her coupon, from having the cutest Halloween costume, at The Wonder Place today. Makayla is going to go too. Abi gets to take a class trip to Party Central tomorrow and KayKay understands that she doesn't get to do that. So, we are going to take her to The Wonder Place to try to make it even.
Abi also got invited to a birthday party tomorrow night. We are going to AP Nails for pedicures. I am excited for the girls to get to do this. They have never had a salon experience for nails. I'm going to bring Makayla too and let her get hers done. And Saturday morning Abi has "Princess Camp" at the high school. They are going to learn songs, dances, do crafts, and have a snack. She really likes seeing the drama club, so I thought she would have a blast.
Then it will be time to head to Newhope for Memaw's Christmas and we are very ready.
Misty eyed moment for the day: Tigger and Pooh were on this morning and they had a turtle with them. Olivia yelled"Mama!" and ran to her giant coloring book where there was a giant picture of a giant turtle and pointed at it. *sigh* she is growing up too fast.

Daddy came home Saturday around 11:00. We picked him up at the airport and the girls were dying to see an airplane. One of the ladies that worked there came over and gave the girls some pilot wings pins and airplane tattoos. When handing me a pin for Livi she said," here is one for him. I thought you might want to hold on to it because it has a pin in it." Poor baby girl. Daddy was greeted with squeals and smiles.
We then came home and got ready for supper that night. Our friends from college and childhood were coming over for a great meal and visit. We always have a good time getting together and a couple of our friends had never met the girls before. They all hit it off well and had a good time playing. Brent brought desserts and they were yummy too.
It is nice to all be together again. Hopefully Daddy will be around until the first of the year. We will see, but definitely won't be holding our breath.
