Santa, Santa, Ho Ho Ho

Alex brought me a Christmas arrangement home from work the other day.

The ladies went to see Santa at the library yesterday. We were the only ones there at the time, so it was nice. Abi went right up to him, sat on his lap, and told him exactly what he was going to bring her for Christmas (a doll and a swingset).

Makayla hesitantly stood by him and put her hand over her mouth as she mumbled what she wanted for Christmas(walkie talkie and mickey mouse).

Olivia ran to him, got half way there, turned around and ran back to me. I went to see him with her and she fussed and reached for me. but once he handed her a candy cane, she was distracted long enough to get a picture.
The "elves" gave them all a giant coloring book and colors. It is cute watching Olivia carry the book around, it's taller than her.

We began making sugar cookies last night. We will probably decorate them tonight.
Alex was off yesterday, today, and tomorrow due to being gone for so many weeks. It is nice. We are going to take Olivia to use her coupon, from having the cutest Halloween costume, at The Wonder Place today. Makayla is going to go too. Abi gets to take a class trip to Party Central tomorrow and KayKay understands that she doesn't get to do that. So, we are going to take her to The Wonder Place to try to make it even.
Abi also got invited to a birthday party tomorrow night. We are going to AP Nails for pedicures. I am excited for the girls to get to do this. They have never had a salon experience for nails. I'm going to bring Makayla too and let her get hers done. And Saturday morning Abi has "Princess Camp" at the high school. They are going to learn songs, dances, do crafts, and have a snack. She really likes seeing the drama club, so I thought she would have a blast.
Then it will be time to head to Newhope for Memaw's Christmas and we are very ready.
Misty eyed moment for the day: Tigger and Pooh were on this morning and they had a turtle with them. Olivia yelled"Mama!" and ran to her giant coloring book where there was a giant picture of a giant turtle and pointed at it. *sigh* she is growing up too fast.
