Olivia spent some time riding the tractor with her Poppa this weekend. Notice the white glove in picture #2. She was waving. She had a good time and enjoyed bragging to her sisters that she did something that they didn't.
This blog is a glimpse into our journey in becoming and growing as a family. Welcome! From Alex, Bethany, Abigail, Makayla, and Olivia.

fall fest 2010
The girls wore their Halloween outfits for the fall fest in Bryant. They had a good time. Olivia was not happy with her plastic M&M hands, so I had to put them away.
The girls picked to have Snoopy painted on their faces and the girl that painted them did such a good job!
I wanted to tell you about our trip to Target on Tuesday night. I was looking at wallets and Olivia saw the umbrellas and purses. She said, "Look at all of these accessories!" I said, "Did you just say accessories?! Where did you hear that?" And she told me she learned it from Max & Ruby. One of her favorite cartoons. She catches me off gaurd a lot lately!
I know you will be seeing more Halloween pictures to come within the next week or so.
fall time with daddy
Her shirt says "cutest pumpkin in the patch" and I think I agree.
The mums were gorgeous. I wish I knew how to keep them happy. Mine looks like death.
The place that we visited has beautiful wooden swings that I hope to have one day (wink wink)
We are missing Alex again. We hope to see him in a few weeks.

Muk Luks
Who has heard of these?
They are called Muk Luks or "shorty boots" and they are so cute!
And they look especially nice after purple lip gloss is applied liberally.
They are called Muk Luks or "shorty boots" and they are so cute!
Especially when worn on "shorty legs"...
holy guacamole, she's 8
Abi was treated to an On The Border supper Tuesday for her birthday. Our good friend Debbie and her family joined us. We had a great visit and the spotlight was just as Abi likes it, on her.
She mentioned several times that she thought the waiter forgot that she told him it was her birthday. I explained to her that she had to be patient. And eventualy, the wait staff came out and sang to her after acquiring the attention of the entire restaraunt. She ate it up!
We had a great evening and now have an 8 year old!

party animals!
So much love pours out to me when I see these photos. our family has embraced our children just as a family should and we are beyond thankful for all that they do for our girls.
Love you all!
Sunday best
We went to Nana and Poppa's last weekend for a family birthday party for the girls.
These photos were taken before church Sunday morning. Some are kind of blurry but I thought they were too sweet not to post.
And the crazy one of Livi, that's her funny face. She cracks herself up.

rockin' party
We had a rock star birthday party at PigtailandCrewcuts in the Pleasant Ridge Town Center last weekend. The girls sang karaoke and got their nails, hair, and make up done. They love Taylor Swift and I did my best to deliver some Taylor Swift themed ideas.
Their cake reminded me a lot of the Lisa Frank themed stuff that I grew up with. I loved Lisa Frank stickers, stationary, and stamps. The bottom cake was chocolate with leapord print and the top was strawberry cake with zebra stripes in funky colors. The cake was fun to make but my hands are still pink and purple from coloring the fondant!
As you can see, there was lots of primping and prissing.
